John grew up in the East Texas area, where his family ran a small cattle operation and a Land and Timber consulting business for many years. Growing up on a farm taught him work ethic, common sense, and the importance of honesty and integrity in business relationships. John has experience in both residential home transactions and rural land transactions. John has closed deals in over 10 Texas counties, both in East and West Texas. John also received national recognition as a United Country 2021 & 2022 Pinnacle Club Award winner and received “Best of Zillow” honors in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

John holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Master of Arts degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
John enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. John is also a Baptist pastor and has served in churches all over the state of Texas. John is married to Rebekah, and they have three children.
